About the organizer

I have been an event coordinator for over 22 years. My background is in ballroom and latin dance and I have competed and taught for over 30 years. Dance eventually led to organizing and managing large dance conventions. When COVID hit, I took up macrame to keep busy as there were no dance events to organize and no lessons to teach. When markets started picking back up, I tried a few and realized that Cedar Park, where I lived, did not have any markets specifically for artisans. Being an event planner, I had to give it a shot. The world of markets is very fulfilling for me as I get to work with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. My degree is in social work and I have always loved working around people and helping others succeed. I also love knowing that my markets offer artists and other vendors an opportunity to sell their products as well as offering a place for the local community to come shop and learn about local businesses.

On my off time I enjoy hanging out with my 3 pups and my amazing family. I also enjoy macrame and creating stained glass art. I have an amazing daughter who I am lucky enough to have so close to me!
